Japan rarely comes to mind when people think of beer, however, contrary to popular belief, Japan has one of the most rich and vibrant beer cultures the world has to offer (even with only a few big producers of beer).
Japanese Sake Specialist, Jun, will guide guests through a refreshing range of Hokkaido fruit brews that use natural fruit and ingredients straight from Japan. Six 4oz samples will be paired with a fromage pairing.
Peach White Ale - The brilliant peach fragrance of Yamanashi peaches fits right in with the flavor and texture of this fruity wheat beer.
Lemon Lager - Refreshingly cool taste produced with freshly squeezed lemon juice from Hiroshima Lemons that is fermented with this Summer thirst-quencher.
Yuzu Lager - This unique lager is brewed with Yuzu citrus fruit from the village of Umaji in Kochi, Japan, a village famous for popularizing this tantalizing fruit.
Cherry Berry Ale - Blueberry and cherries bore from Yoichi, Hokkaido are used in abundance to produce this ale. The fruits natural sweet and sour flavor plays exquisitely with the berrys refreshing harmony.
Honey Apple Ale - Brewed using honey and apples from Yoichi, Hokkaido, this cider-like beer has an incredibly crisp taste thats sure to leave you wanting more.
Pear Lager - European Pears, grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido are used to compliment the clear lineage of lager beer with a sweet fragrance, characteristic of the European Pears.
